Shiatsu Therapy



Shiatsu is a physical therapy that supports and strengthens the body’s natural ability to heal and balance itself. It works on the whole person, not just a physical body, but also the psychological, emotional and spiritual being. Shiatsu or ‘finger pressure’ originates from Japan and is based on the meridian system of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The therapist uses direct pressure using thumbs, palms and elbows and gentle stretching to adjust the body’s physical structure and balance its energy flow. It’s a deeply relaxing experience and regular treatment can help alleviate stress and illness and help maintain health and well-being.
